Why this matters to a broker
Swiss data protection law (FADP) and your confidentiality obligations require you to know which providers process data entrusted by clients, and where. Clients can ask you about that processing.
What is sent, and what never is
Only excerpts from general conditions and Swiss law articles are sent to the assistant. Client names, amounts, social security numbers and free text are never sent. Questions containing client data are rejected and must be rephrased.
Where your questions are processed
The swiss-ai/Apertus-v1.5-70B model runs at Infomaniak Network SA in Carouge (GE). The bge_multilingual_gemma2 vectors are processed by the same provider in Switzerland. The data processing agreement was signed on 12 August 2025. Requests are neither retained nor used to train models.
What the model never does
It does not reach a conclusion for you. The article and excerpt appear before the answer. The database refuses an answer without a cited article. You decide what the text means for your client.
Why a Swiss model rather than an American one
Processing in the United States would raise a cross-border transfer to document in the data processing agreement and in information to clients. With this Swiss processing, your questions remain in Switzerland. Precise duties depend on the data and the safeguards of each provider.
